Dr. Augustine was awarded the VA Fellow to Faculty Career grant for $200,000 over two years. He will work on his project titled "Using Regional Information Exchanges to Understand VHA and Non-VHA ED Utilization" at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, James J Peter VA Medical Center.

Dr. Mueller was awarded the EMF/AFFIRM Early Career Research Development grant for $150,000 over two years. She will work on her project titled "Firearm Injuries and Recidivism at St. Louis Level I Trauma Hospitals" at Washington University in St. Louis.

Dr. Boatright was awarded a Pilot Research grant for $50,000. He will work on his project titled "Racial/Ethnic Differences in Emergency Medicine Residency Milestone Evaluation" at Yale University.

Dr. Riddell was awarded an EMF/CORD Emergency Medicine Education Research grant for $25,000. He will work on his project titled "A Qualitative Exploration of Trust and Credibility Judgments in Educational Podcasts" at Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California.

Dr. Gottlieb was awarded the EMF/CORD Emergency Medicine Education Starter grant for $10,000. He will work on his project titled "The Impact of Driving on Podcast Knowledge Acquisition and Retention Among Emergency Medicine Resident Physicians" at Rush University Medical Center.

Dr. Peng was awarded an EMF/CORD Emergency Medicine Education Starter grant for $10,000. She will work on her project titled "Use of an Online Simulation Platform for Assessing Entrustable Professional Activities During Transition into Residency" at Stanford University.

Dr. Nogee was awarded the EMF/Medical Toxicology Foundation grant for $10,000. He will work on his project titled "Machine Learning Enhanced Diagnosis of Toxic Exposures" at Yale University.

Dr. Ashburn was awarded the EMF/EMRA Resident Research grant for $10,000. He will work on his project titled "Integrating Cutting-Edge Biomarkers into the Emergency Chest Pain Evaluation (ICE-CP)" at Wake Forest School of Medicine.

Dr. Baehr was awarded an EMF/EMRA Resident Research grant for $10,000. She will work on her project titled "Adverse Events After ED Discharge for Conditions with High Variability in Discharges" at the University of Colorado, Denver.

Dr. Im was awarded an EMF/EMRA Resident Research grant for $7,770. She will work on her project titled "Quality Measurement Framework for Emergency Department Care of Psychiatric Emergencies" at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital.

Dr. Tyler was awarded the EMF/EMRA Resident Research grant for $10,000. He will work on his project titled "Thromboelastography to Assess Coagulopathy and Glycocalyx Degradation in Sepsis" at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

Dr. Wrenn was awarded the EMF/EMRA Resident Research grant for $10,000. He will work on his project titled "The Scanned Document Problem: Using Paper Records in Emergency Care" at Vanderbilt University.

Mr. Bawa was awarded an EMF/SAEMF Medical Student Research grant for $5,000. He will work on his project titled "Effective Nutritional Analyses as a Predictive Utility For 30-Day Cardiac Recovery" at Wayne State University.

Ms. Flessel was awarded an EMF/SAEMF Medical Student Research grant for $5,000. She will work on her project titled "Investigating Psychosocial Factors, Health Behaviors, and Diabetic Control in Emergency Department Patients " at Wayne State University.

Mr. Jones was awarded an EMF/SAEMF Medical Student Research grant for $5,000. He will work on his project titled "Evaluating Hepatitis C Linkage to Care: Emergency Department Versus Community Clinics" at Tulane University.

Mr. Lippi was awarded an EMF/SAEMF Medical Student Research grant for $5,000. He will work on his project titled "National Trends and Outcomes of Sepsis Readmission" at University of Colorado School of Medicine.

Dr. Scott, a student at Harvard Medical School, was awarded an EMF/SAEMF Medical Student Research grant for $5,000. She will work on her project titled "Assessing Financial Risk Among Uninsured Patients Seeking Emergency Medical Care" at the University of Washington and Harvard Medical School

Mr. Schwimmer was awarded an EMF/AFFIRM Medical Student Research grant for $5,000. He will work on his project titled "Rural Emergency Department Firearm Assessment, Screening, and Treatment (FAST) Trial" at Emory University School of Medicine.

Dr. Hostler (pictured), and Dr. Clemency, were awarded an EMF/NAEMSP EMS Research grant for $5,000. Dr. Hostler and Dr. Clemency will work on their project titled "Understanding the Nutrition Practices of Dayshift and Nightshift EMS Workers" at the University at Buffalo.

Dr. McMullan (pictured) and Mr. Borkosky were awarded an EMF/NAEMSP EMS Research grant for $5,000. Dr. McMullan and Mr. Borkosky will work on their project titled "Paramedic Attitudes to Obtaining Informed Consent for Prehospital Research Trials" at the University of Cincinnati.

Dr. Faris (pictured) and Dr. Rayburn were awarded an EMF/NAEMSP EMS Research grant for $3,750. Dr. Faris and Dr. Rayburn will work on their project titled "Utilizing Simulation to Improve Pediatric Prehospital Medical Care" at Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services.
