EMF is so grateful to our donors and we commit to do everything in our power to respect and protect the privacy of our website visitors, online and offline donors.

If you are visiting our website, our general policy is to collect and store only personal information that you knowingly provide. We collect only aggregate data —such as the number of hits per page— to guide our internal and marketing efforts.

EMF will not share or sell our donor's personal information with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations.

Online, over the phone or in person, EMF takes care to protect your information. We will not disclose credit card account information provided by our donors. If a donor chooses to use their credit card, EMF submits the information needed to obtain payment to the appropriate clearinghouse.  Credit card information submitted online is transmitted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. SSL is a proven coding system that lets your browser automatically encrypt, or scramble, data before you send it to us.
